Precautions for installation of SE40 readhead
1. The scale mounting tool must be used for the mounting of the scale. Hand mounting is prohibited.
2. Because there may be mounting stress, it takes 24 hours to perform precision calibration after the scale is mounted, and it takes longer when the temperature is lower.
3. For the long-term reliability of the application, the application body (linear motor, machine) needs to be reliably grounded and shielded to prevent the reading head from being disturbed, and the power line and the signal line should be separated as much as possible.
4. The power supply terminal of the reading head needs to meet 5V ± 10%, and the current is not less than 300mA.
5. The dirt of the scale may result in increased output signal noise or position failure. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the scale is clean. The scale can be cleaned with dust-free paper combined with ethanol or isopropanol.
6. The fixing screw of the reading head must be in accordance with the length and torque given in the installation diagram, otherwise it may cause damage to the reading head or improper fixing.
